The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 supports the Government’s aim to speed up the planning system by reforming the plan-making process, improving the predictability of planning decisions, accelerating the handling of major infrastructure projects, and requiring simplified planning zones to be identified within regional strategic plans.
