These regulations deal with the appeal procedure for written representations. They revoke and replace, with some changes, the Town and Country Planning (Appeals) (Written Representations Procedure) (England) Regulations 2000, subject to the transitional and saving provisions in regulation 20. The main changes made are the introduction of a new, faster procedure for household appeals dealt with on the basis of written representation.
